Who is buried in the tomb of unknown soldier????

It’s Armistice Day, November 11th, in thenation's capital. It is a brisk day at Arlington National Cemetery. Dignitaries stand silently on the third anniversaryof the ending of World War I, watching as a single white casket is lowered into a marbledtomb. In attendance is President Calvin Coolidge, former President Woodrow Wilson, Supreme Court Justice (as well as former President) WilliamHoward Taft, Chief Plenty Coups, and hundreds of dedicated United States servicemen. As the casket settles on its final restingplace in the tomb, upon a thin layer of French soil, three salvos are fired.  A bugler plays taps and, with the final note, comes a 21 gun salute. The smoke clears and eyes dry as the UnknownSoldier from World War I is laid to rest; the first unknown soldier to be officiallyhonored in this manner in American history. The United States’ allies in World War I,France and Britain, were the first countries to practice the concept of burying an “unknownsoldier.” World W...

How to arest the imigrant as professional to do like ICE

ICE is set to launch a so-called CitizensAcademy that would train average citizens on how to arrest undocumented immigrants. Considering the environment that we're currentlyliving in and considering the insane uptick in hate crimes that have occurred since Trumpwent into office, this is a disastrous idea. The program is being called the US Immigrationand Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations or ICERO.

Now, community leaders in Chicago were actuallyalerted to an invitation that was sent out by Robert Guardian. He is an ICE Director or ICE Field Directorin Chicago. And so he sends out these invites, encouragingpotential stakeholders to take part in this six-week training program to teach peoplehow to do an arrest of undocumented immigrants.

Now, let me just be clear that it's not thatthey're gonna be in class or something every single day for six weeks. It will be a total of one day per week. Meaning, they're gonna meet six times andget trained on how to do an appropriate arrest. Are you kidding me right now? So according to Guardian's letter, the trainingwould be held every Tuesday from 2 PM to 6 PM at ICE's Chicago Field Office startingon September 15th and this is the pilot program.

After the pilot program, they're planningon extending this or expanding this across the country. The program is the first of its kind and Ihope that there's enough backlash to this that they don't even try this pilot program, cuz it could be a disaster. Now when Newsweek reached out to ICE a spokespersonreally tried to downplay the program, Nicole Alberico says that the Academy is an extensionof the community relations work ICE is already doing in the community.

The goal is to build bridges with the communityby offering a day-in-the-life perspective of a federal law enforcement agency. So I do think that a big part of this is PR,because I snoze that people aren't happy with this agency. People want to abolish the agency. We've seen the horrific cruelty at the southernborder. We've seen dozens of immigrants who are seekingasylum die in the cages that are being guarded by ICE officials and Border Patrol officials. And so this could really be disastrous. They're also saying that they're going tooffer classroom instruction, visiting an immigration detention center. I'm sure they're gonna really show off whatan immigration detention center really looks like and learning more about the supposedcare ICE provides for those in custody.

So again, I think that there is a PR componentto it which is what ICE is fessing up to. But it seems like they're trying to deny thatthey're running a pilot program in Chicago that would teach regular citizens on how toessentially profile people. And try to arrest them which could be absolutelyno, which will be absolutely disastrous. >> So even if you took ICE's word for thebenevolent part of this program, that also would be a giant waste of time and money. So let's talk about that for a second.

So they say, we're gonna get the communityand invite them in and show them how wonderful ICE is. Yeah, I mean, if there are any good parts, you're gonna show them that. But you're not gonna show them the kids incages and you're not gonna show them when you abuse people. So that's not showing them what you do. You're not gonna show them when you raid busesin the middle of New York and arrest everyone who looks Latino, which is what ICE has donein the past. So you're just gonna show them propaganda.

So at best, it's a total waste of time andmoney. But if that's all you're gonna, do why didyou say that you're gonna teach people how to do citizen's arrests? No, the real point is get lunatic right wingvigilantes to do even worse stuff than you're doing. And I mean, in order to be a cop or an ICEagent, it really doesn't take any training, anyway.

Tuesdays, 2 to 6, six times and they go outthere and kick some ass. Who? Who cares as long as they look brown. That's what we do at ICE. So- >> I think they might have shown what ICEactually does do. >> So ICE only emboldened by Donald Trump. So I find it interesting that they tried tokind of like minimize the whole citizen duress aspect of this program, because you watchhow Trump emboldens them when he speaks during his rallies. In fact, here's a recent speech he gave wherehe specifically talked about what ICE should do. >> These ICE people, they love our country. They're proud and they're tough people, andthey'll go right into a pack, they call it a pack.

And they start swinging, everyone is swingingand they end up standing up. That's the end of that. >> And you know what they do? They bring the MS-13 and many other gang membersand other members back to El Salvador, back to Honduras, back to Guatemala, back to Mexico. >> Now, people who are sitting behind himor standing behind him are supposed to be his supporters. I mean, they're there to see him speak inthe middle of a pandemic. But it looks like some people in the audiencewere uncomfortable with the statements. Let's take a quick look at that.

>> They'll go right into a pack, they callit a pack. And they start swinging, everyone swingingand they end up standing up. That's the end of that and you know what theydo? They bring the MS-13. >> Hey, lady, you're in the wrong room. Get out, get out, get out. How do you not know at this point that thisis who Donald Trump is? He encourages the violence. He encourages the division and the hate inthis country. He thrives off of it.

That's what his first campaign was mainlyabout and he's leaning into that again for his reelection campaign, because he's failedin every other regard. >> Yeah, maybe somebody took a picture witha flash right before he said that man. So get out. So look, that's who Trump is and the bureaucracyis not yet completely fascist and it's ironic thing to say about ICE.

But like the PR people don't realize and Ithink they will in the second term. You're just supposed to flat out say it nowin the Trump administration. They still try to pretty it up like no, wewill show you wonderful facilities. And these great, well, not cages, not cages. But like wonderful fenced off areas that wehave them in, because it's old habits die hard, right? Whereas in the second term, my guess is they'relike yeah, this is where we put a cage people.

And then we get in a pack and we start kickingthe living crap out of them. And I mean, the president says it, so we nowproudly declare it. And most people that are Trump's supporterslike yes. And then name random Latin American countries,Guatemala. And then named them in some weirdly theoreticallyscary way.

The Panama Canal. The greatest Engineering feat ever

It’s perhaps the most effective shortcutin the world. Slicing through the dense jungles of CentralAmerica, the Panama Canal bisects the continent, carving an 80km path that joins the Atlanticto the Pacific. For ships that pass through its intricatesystem of locks, it can chop up to 12,500 km off their journey - a time saving thatputs even Egypt’s Suez Canal to shame. When construction was finally completed in1914, it was the most expensive infrastructure project ever undertaken, and is still oneof the engineering wonders of the modern world. Yet the tale of the Panama Canal is more thanjust the tale of a whole bunch of guys getting together to decide how to get boats from portA to port B in record time. It’s also a tale of a dream.  Of a dream so big - so unimaginably vast - thatit persisted for centuries; and of the nightmares that were unleashed in pursuit of that dream. In the video today, we take a look at theepic story that is the history of the Panama Canal, a story stu...

A tour of Janifer Davenport

Hello I'm Jennifer Davenport and in this video I'm gonna give you a store tour and see some of the new things that havecome in for the summer. So stay tuned. One of the first things I want to show you is one of my favorite tables. I really like things mixed in the room. This one is very industrial and super cool. I love round tables and especiallyI love to place them if I'm gonna have two chairs in a room. I like a roundtable in between them because that really helps to nestle everythingtogether and again I'm probably gonna decorate in threes. If I have a lamp thenI'm probably going to have a greenery and then some type of little figurine.I love lighting.  I think it's a work of art whether it's a lamp or whether it'sa chandelier. This one just came in. This one's not online so don't give me a hardtime but this one is beautiful with the wood beads, a white tone. I really can'tthink of a room that this would not look good in. One of the new th...

First why then trust

Rik DelaetReviewer: Diba Szamosi Thank you. Thank you very much. What I love about events like these is that it is not just people coming together to hear ideas. It's that we all came here for the same reason. Every single one of us came here because we share something, we have similar values and similar beliefs and that's the reason we showed up. We don't know each other and yet we know something about each other.  Now this is important, you see, because the very survival of the human race depends on our ability to surround ourselves with people who believe what we believe. When we're surrounded by people who believe what we believe something remarkable happens: Trust emerges. Make no mistake of it, trust is a feeling, a distinctly human experience. Simply doing everything that you promise you're going to do does not mean people will trust you. It just means you're reliable.  And we all have friends who are total screw ups and yet we still trust them. Trust com...
